91 SHO. I took the EATC unit out to replace. The one I had for replacement did not fit correctly so I decided to put the original one back. Now my AC compressor does not kick in. What did I do? I started the engine w/o the unit in because I had to move the car. Could that have done something? Ran the codes for the EATC and got 888. I assume it is OK. Fuses are OK. Help!!

Thanks,
Don

I could not believe it! One of the wires pushed through the connector at the EATC and that was the problem. Works fine.

Also, the 93 Lincoln EATC hard button works fine with the 91 SHO with some trimming of the alignment pin.

How often we overlook the simple things!

Thanks.
