Ok, its probably not a single bad batch of gas you got. The 93 near you probably isnt actually 93, and more than likely youre gonna have to add a couple gallons of e85 to each fill up.

Thats exactly what I have to do in order to keep my oar where it should be.

I just wanted to point that out so youre prepared when draining this tank doesn't end up solving all your problems.

If I read the email correctly, he's not running 93, he's stuck with 91. That's gonna chop his performance somewhat isn't it?

I stated that I could only get 91 along with my location (altitude) when I filled out the tune form. The AO tune is supposed to compensate for the lower octane. I freaking hate not having 93 here. There is a station near my office that sells 105, I could put a few gallons in tomorrow. I wasn't able to pump the tank dry tonight since the serial number for the SCT on the pumpit tune Matt sent me had the last two characters reversed. That happened on the first tunes he or his staff sent me. I hope they delete those tunes and reference to the wrong SN

I'd be highly impatient too if I dropped $6k on my car just to make it run worse than stock. But try to keep relaxed and give Matt the opportunity to work it out for you. Troubleshooting is a process and has to go one step at a time. The gas thing is most likely a wild goose chase, but you'll find out soon enough and move on to step two. Don't try masking the problems with ethanol or race gas. It's a pump gas tune, it needs to run right on pump gas.

BTW are you running the AD mounts right now, or stock? Same mounts when you had the other tune loaded? Sorry if already asked and answered but aftermarket mounts are a common cause of false knock and I didn't want it to get overlooked.

I ran a long datalog last night at variable acceleration, speed and throttle position and sent to Matt around 8:30pm but haven't heard back. It's attached, I would like to get better at reading these and knowing what to look for and what things I can look at on the car to correct my issue. Are you guys graphing some of the results to see how they are acting/reacting at time steps? Maybe someone could email me or PM what they are doing with the data and what to be looking for. My email is [email protected]

I think Matt wants me to wait on adding the E85 until he has a chance to go through the last log since he hasn't directed me to yet. I am getting somewhat impatient since I spent a boatload of $$$ and time under and over the car to install everything. I did mention to Matt that I had to buy a longer wastegate vacuum line for the rear turbo since the waste was clocked off by 180 and the stock hose was too short. I used the identical same size (dia) so it shouldn't have an effect. Hopefully he'll get back to me and have a game plan on what to do or look for.

So he's not supposed to have a life and enjoy his wife, children and home???????????????? Bud you need stop thinking this is the latest iPhone. You also don't get to trump everyone who was in line before you.

Yes AD trans mounts, I've had them in and out so many times I've lost count. I guess I can swap them out again. I wish it was only $6k that I dropped. $6k at GH but I spent some at PPE for DPs and Ortiz also for XDI, coils and CC. H&Rs not in yet.

You've been told several times what the problem is and how to fix it. Its not the tune or the tuner. You continue to ignore what everyone is telling you and have made up your own mind that Matt is the problem. You send him emails at 8:30pm and then jump on the internet to complain that he didn't immediately respond to you. You need a ****** and a reality check.

Or to save the $50 and not catch any kind of disease he could put the car up on jack stands and put the car on cruise control and let it just run all night long, kinda like on ferris bueller.

Holy buckets I missed the 91 octane only part. Yeah thats like 91% of the problem. Id be surprised if 91 could maintian an OAR better than -.50.

Pumping that tank dry is just an exercise in futility. Absolutely without exception gonna have to add e85 or race gas to every single tank to get the octane up high enough for -.96 oar.

A week? Damn that's virtually instantaneous in the tuning/car mod world...yeah, you're gonna have to be WAY more patient than that buddy.
Or he could go to the tuner whose name should not be said anymore, but we all know if he contacted them about his troubles they would respond quickly but they would also say it was his fault.
