So what is everyone seeing on their boost gauge for GH's AO tune? I have his Gen 3 turbos, GHIC, PPE catted DPs, XDI-35, Airaid CAI, MSD coils, and GH powerpack.

It's been a good long while since I had that tune loaded up but pretty sure it's like 17-18psi maintained on e30 GH Gen 3 tune. Because the boost doesn't taper off in the top end you gain a bunch more power up there and the more efficient turbine flow frees up power also.

This^^ I have about all of what your listed and AJP tune but see right around 18 psi all the way to the end. Granted each tuner can set boost commanded at what the want. this is a very happy place as it's 500 whp and this is about as hard as I want to push the stock motor.

Ok, I thought it would/should be around those numbers. Looks like I have an issue going on. When I first loaded the tune on Thursday night it ran like a ***** ape and I saw it flash to 20 but took my eyes off the gauge as I needed to pay attention to driving, but 17-18 sounds about right. I’m only seeing 9-12 now. It gets to 9-10ish very quickly at very light 1/8 depressed throttle. At first I was thinking I was getting false knock from the AD trans mounts but I swapped my stock mounts back in and still low boost.

I guess I need to check all my hot pipe connections. I do still have the stock hot pipes and noise maker pipe. I wanted to keep it as stock appearing as possible outside of the Airaid, MSDs, and XDI-35 since I’m under bumper to bumper warranty until March and CPO warranty power train for 100k and I think until March 2024. I also actually like the sound the noisemaker puts out. The grunt sound is cool to me, but I’ve read that it can start leaking when turning the boost wick up.

Any suggestions on where to look to see why my boost levels are substantially lower than they should be?

I’m only on the AO tune until I can make a low pressure fuel hose for the ethanol sensor.

What is your OAR? anything lower then -.96 is less boost. so if its -.96 then do a log and look at WGDC if it's maxed at 100% then you have a boost leak should be closer to 70%. the other thing is look at the boost reference hose (5/16 size) in the middle of the motor to the center crossover charge pipe they like to come off if you haven't clamped it.

I see peaks of 18 psi with GH AO and IC on 93 gas.

Due to fear of overtightening the clamps, I blew the rear turbo duct off on my first test drive after IC install. I should have marked the clamps before removal.

Remove airbox, check every clamp, test drive, repeat.

All hot pipe connections are tight, I did put a clamp on the boost reference hose when I reinstalled the crossover charge pipe so it was good also.

I haven't drilled the access hole in the radiator support for the IC oil drain. So I can't see if the oil drain plug come off but I doubt that would cause this much of a boost drop.

What is the AOR? I'm trying to figure out how to datalog with the SCT LivewireTS, I have loaded it with the configuration.CF4 file that GH sent me but haven't figured out how to log with the SCT. I will give it a shot on my errand I have to run ib a few.

OAR is the octane adjust ratio. Have you checked for any DTC codes?

If there's some issue, it could be limiting to wastegate pressure, but not sure what that is on the GH turbos...on the ATPs it's about 8-10psi

Add 2 gallons of e85. My car doesn't like gh tunes and a few other have had the problem.

definitely need to get that OAR up, sounds like you got some bad gas...
I only run Shell premium? What do they need to be at? Would a gallon or two of E85 really help? What’s weird is the first night it ran really well.

optimal OAR is -0.96. Anything that is positive numbers is pretty much water as far as performance is concerned.

I've tried to upload the datalog but the forum doesn't like .csv files
Compress it as a .zip then you can attach.

In the meantime, am I reading right that you just loaded the base GH AO that you got with your livewire and not a file specifically for the upgraded turbos?

The file is specific for all my upgrades to include the turbos. I received 2 complimentary tunes one for buying the turbos and IC. AO and E30. I still need to buy a fuel line to instal the ethanol sensor.

Thanks for your help!
