What am I missing

2015 Non PP, AJP 93 & E30, PPE catless dp, AD lower mounts, and LMS CAI.
Track times aren’t making sense to me. I could just have higher expectations than what the reality is, but thought it would be faster. Feb 2023, made my first ever passes at local 1/8th strip. Ran 8.3, 4 year old 93 Ortiz tune. Switched to AJP, got AD lower mounts, bought new tires, 60ft went up, car stayed 8.3. Went to E30, car stayed 8.3. From Feb through August ran 8.3 regardless of fuel or weight, 60ft went back down some, and squeaked a 8.22 out on 93 once randomly. September, got catless dp done. Pulled back seat, trunk mat, spare tire, no passenger, 1/4 tank of E30, and revision for E30 with dp, car ran 8.13 never faster. Runs almost the exact same pass on 93 with everything back in the car and with a passenger. I’m at a loss, thought maybe it was my driving and weather, so far after a month of constant testing every weekend nothing changed regardless what I do. I could be entirely wrong but I had hopes it would be into the 7.8X range on E30 at this point. Any ideas, advice, or is it running what it’s supposed to be.

Your 60' time needs help. Should be able to click off 1.6x -1.7x 60' which gets get you to the 7.8x ranges

Contemplating getting a set of 18s and running a radial upfront and all season in the rear.

A lot has to do with DA at the track and you're ait.. Yes you definitely need to work on the sixty foots that also is contributed by the DA and how cool the car is.. This is a time slip with the same mods as u but with a fuel pump. I would spend the money on a pump before rims and tires.. Then look into a intercooler.. Then do some logs for Brad and dial it in.. Good Luck..

What tire psi are you running for 1.7-.8?

Are you logging data? Look for "torque source" = 2 which indicates traction control is kicking in. Look at "throttle angle Actual" to see if the throttle is being modulated by the tune (should be steady). Look at "spark advance v2" to see if timing is being pulled. If so, look at "knock Sensor". I'd keep all tires the same pressure IMHO (different diameter tires screws up the torque management system). I run with traction control ON and if it kicks in, this tells me the surface is bad and then I'll lower pressure to make up for it. If you are running E30 with the stock HPFP then you're running out of fuel (look at "Fuel Rail Pressure"). Stock intercooler will definitely hold you back and non-PP has lower final drive ratio as well (slow launches).

GREAT tires! I put them on my '14 5.0 GT and then my '08 SRT Jeep. I was a Nitto fanboy before trying the Conti. I now have the Conti A/T on my X-Sport and they still have great street performance.
