weird reving

ok... got im my car(93mtx) this morining to go to work... and while waiting for it to warm up it started idleing weird... the tach would jump from about 1200 down to 500 and back and forth... at the same time all the lights would dim(at 500 rpm).... turned off the car and restarted it and it was fine... also the last few days my check engine light has been going on and off at random... i pulled hte codes...koeo.. and got

what do these mean?

and then to top it off.... my rediator is smoking... its kinda weird though... cause im not leaking coolant at all and im not even getting that warm.... and the smoke is distictly coming from the front and top of radiator...

any help would be appreciated

id look into 114... thats the idle air temperature sensor...

117 is the coolant sensor is low or grounded

217 is a circuit failure for coil 3 of the ignition coil... which could also be your problem... but id still look into the 114 code first and see if these dont sort themselves out


oh and 354 is.. nothing...

A dieing battery can do weird things. It sure sounds like a good place to start. Have someone do a load test on it.
