So I was about 10 blocks from my house when I realize I can't shift.
The shifter would only move from 3rd to 4th.
When I got home, I pulled off the center console.
A little grommet broke.

The shifter stripped down.

JB weld or epoxy might work? I dunno about that one!

Or post it in the Want to Buy section and somebody can probably find one for you from an old car.

Or hit up a junkyard if you have one in your area.

Don't have it handy, but Theres a mopar part # for that, zipties may work. Also do a search here, there was some recent posts of a couple diff ways that someone did thier own pemanent fix.

I ended up gorilla gluing, clamping and taping the **** out of it.
Got it in with a little fight, and seems to be holding :D

I'm still going to baby it though :p

A guy I know took a plastic glider for his sons walker and shaved the middle down and it looks identical and works better than new
