So your looking for an EBC? Or a MBC?

TurboXS has a nice line of MBC's. Buddy is running one on his GSX w/ a .50trim... :naughty:

Not sure on the EBC. I figured Apexi would be your best choice...and its probably like right down the blocl too..

EBC's can do SOOO much for you. They are a lot more than just a way to increase your boost. Currently, I am using the Greddy Profec A. A google search will tell you all you need to know about it. I am jonesing for a Profec E or similar machine, as they allow you to set your boost curve vs RPM. That would be sweet!!

i use a "home made" bleeder valve... cost like 2-3 bucks.. works great... only down side to the bleeder type mbc's are that you Slightly increase the lag, ebc's block the boost from the wg till it hits a set psi then it opens as much as it needs to keep the turbo at the set psi.

just my 2 cents

two stage MBC here. I think it was $15 on ebay, the voodoo II. I use the MBC as a second stage and the WG spring as the first stage with a manual valve to flip from one to the other. it was cheap and it works. also i have an ATX so it's always spooled, so it may be different for a MTX.

+1 for turbo ATX's everywhere.

now where are those jackstands I need to replace my tranny again... just kidding.

i keep forgetting about that cory. I was looking for a EBC that would lower my boost for first gear and raise it after teh shift but I can do it your way for a lot less with a switch.

I got my mechanical one from this guy. No turbo lag and simple to install.

HA, thats funny. I love the fact they take a Grainger valve that cost 7 bucks and marks it up to 40 bucks.

I will say though, the Grainger valve works GREAT. I had one on my Turbo Voyager, and the dodge guys have been using them for years with great results....

I will see if I can find the page that shows how to build it yourself.

Here is the link to it.....
