Tune ???

This morning i uploaded a tune i got from gearhead. After the upload process Tuen the car on the wrench light and traction control light was on and seemed like it had lack of power. Went to put it in in gear car banged into drive and wouldn’t me if when i gave it gas. Put the stock tune back in and car ran fine. Don’t know if the tine got messed up or there is a period were the ecm has to adapt to the tune

That sounds like the classic issue of the tune doesn’t match the MAP sensors....

Do not drive it that way...

Make sure that you have the correct 3BAR and the tune is configured for a 3BAR.

So either the 3bar i got was wrong or the tune is not configured right got you

What MAP are you switching out? The one before the throttle body, or the one on top of the intake manifold?

Verify you have a 3 bar map sensor for the top.

Did you go back to stock tune without changing the map? Confirm the part number if it's a ford part

Yep definitely a map sensor mismatch. Common symptoms. Email them to verify the tune.

I think that's a 2 bar map. My 3 bar is a cx-2231, aa5z-9f479-b.

I don't own one so I'm not as up to speed on all the part numbers, but I think that is correct for 3 bar.

Maybe. Rockauto lists that part number as the stock replacement for a 2013 SHO.

That's my next question is are you sure it's a 3 bar.
