I noticied I was leaking tranny fluid the other day. Leak got progressively worse. I found that it was leaking from the transmission line connector that connects from the tranny to the oil line that goes to the cooler. I took it apart, figured it was the retaining clip at the end of it. Went to ford and bought at new one ($18.60!). Just installed it. I started it up and boom it is gushing now. A lot worse. I don't understand what I did wrong. I screwed it in tight and its not leaking there. It is the other side where the oil line slides into the clip. It was nice and tight and the retaining clip was holding it in well.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions? It is starting to **** me off.
