Tranny

I had wrote about a tranny problem before and it seems I had a Super Chip on the car that was not working. I removed the chip and it seemed to run and shift fine. I now have another issue. When I stop at a light it seems to get out of gear. When I try to move it wont go and then it slams into gear then right out of gear. If I get it to go into gear it seems to stay in gear until I stop. I started it up the other day and it didn't go into gear but after letting it sit for a minute or so it went into gear and I drove it around the block several times with no issues. The car only has 80,000 miles and I would like to avoid a tranny rebuild. Could this be a different issue? I love the car and would rather not put $2,000 into the tranny! Any thoughts?

Have you checked the fliud?
