When I take off at a normal rate of speed, my tranny shifts fine (nice and crisp). If I go about half throttle it shifts at about 5,000 RPM or higher. Everything is working fine.
Here is my problem. If I am just cruising down the road and floor the gas, it downshifts and the engine revs up to 3,500 RPM and stays there. The car dosen't gain speed or anything. Isn't there a rev limiter on these cars? Could that be the problem?
Oh yea, it's a 1993 3.2L ATX. The tranny has about 30,000 miles on it after being rebuilt.
