CD is 0.33 with the 2010 Taurus; good, but in comparison, my 1998 Diamante has a cd of 0.29

Thanks. Anyone know the gear ratios and rear end numbers? Also what is redline? Sorry I haven't been able to study or even look at the car or specs yet.
The 89 SHO has a CD of 0.33 also with the other years only a few points away.

It'll take some time to go over a couple of charts I've got but speed over 175 mph with the bianairies broken should be no problem. How about the redline

It takes just over 300 HP to go 200 mph with the frontal area of the 2010. That doesn't take in the effects of tire drag, brake drag, bearing friction or road surface.
With all conditions a a lot of computer fidling the 2010's gear ratios and frontal CD say it could concievably do:
6,000 rpm
5th = 162 mph 6th = 219.++
8,000 rpm
5th = 216.++ 6th + 292.++
Yes I know there is a wall of air that will stop the car before it reaches the bigger numbers, BUT, I believe someone on the board will take a 2010 SHO over the 175 mph mark, we have a bunch of great people on the board that can do it.
Anyone want to sponser me to do it?

Don't worry about it, I kind of just laugh at things and I just got lucky on my build.
The way things are with the family right now I won't see a 2010 until 2020.
