So me and my brother took the SHO to Sacramento raceway last weekend. The car is bone stock with all season tires and all, EXCEPT a 100 shot from a zex nitrous kit and 100 octane ERC race gas I'm extremely happy it ran a 13.99 and I felt it had even more but launching on street tires was tricky. So anyway I figured fugg it and bumped up the spray to 125 and it wasn't my brightest idea haha pictures are below. Still pulled a 14.2 with the melted plugs haha

You need to upgrade your fuel pump in order to run that size of a shot. While some have run a 50 shot on the stock fuel pump, it is highly recommended that you run atleast a 155lph pump. The race fuel isn't required. Without correct mods and tuning it actually hurts your performance. For larger shots people have pulled the octane switch on the car (can't remember the exact location) to pull some timing and prevent detonation. Other have run stock timing without any issues.

FYI, there have been a number of people that have run different mounts of nitrous here on the forum. Anything over a 75-100 shot didn't seem to do much as far at ET's. Like you said, launching is the key to getting your ET down. They say that for every .1 you take off your 60' you take .2 off your ET.

Put in some autolite 3922's if your going to be running that big of a n2o. As others said get at least a 155lph fuel pump. I would just put in a 190 myself I never had a single problem with it on a stock engine before going turbo.

Hahahahaha, hey man I wasn't messing around:burnout::burnout::3gears:. Oh and as far as the car I'm actually running a 155lph fuel pump and some auto lite 3922s but it just wasn't enough i guess i figured 125 wouldn't cause that kind of damage I'd love to pull some timing and see what it does I'll just stick with a 100 shot for the time being surprisingly enough I still habe have pretty even compression across all 6 cylinders

Nice, glad you didn't blow anything. I was expecting a higher MPH with the 100 shot but its sweet you made it into the 13s. One of these days I will get bitten by the NOS bug.

Haha thanks yea I had a few runs where I trapped higher MPH my first run I trapped 99.6 but ET was 14.10 and another run I trapped 100.49 but again ET was only 14.16 those street tires were killing my 60' I'll take the car back to the track when I get the quife(or how ever you spell it) and center force clutch installed and some sticky tires
