I had planned on picking up an XDI Evo from Ortiz but hadn't noticed the lead time of 6 - 8 weeks. I assume this is still accurate as the Xtreme-DI website says they are on back order and seem to be out of stock, NA or on back order from other vendors. So, knowing that and needing something to help me gap a GT350 from a dig leads me to my next question.
If the wait times are true, I could instead go with a meth setup, going that route, what is the performance difference (times, trap speeds or power numbers) between an e30 - e50 tune vs a meth tune.
If I end up going meth due to availability, is there any benefit in keeping the meth injection once on an e30 - e50 tune? I don't think there would be but can't say for certain.
Also, nitrous. I have experience with nitrous as I have ran a 150 shot or more on my 99 Z28 for years. That said, it is not a turbo car and I know nitrous has a few more added benefits when ran under forced induction (cooling and stuffs and spraying a certain shot NA does not equate to the same power gains under boost which is typically larger gains) as compared to NA and I would think the stock fuel system would have a hard time keeping up with a 50 - 100 shot when running all the bolt ons minus turbos and fuel mods.
I am looking for the most reasonable solution. So, not sure what to do. My current go fast mods are spark plugs, MSD coils, 3 bar, 170 thermostat, EPP Hot pipes and dual intake, PPE catless down pipes, GH Intercooler, SSM mounts and currently GH 93 tune.
