Does anyone happen to have any pics of the SHO thworout bearing? I finally got the flywheel off of my car and am not sure what to look for when looking for the old throwout bearing. My clutch kit hasn't come in yet so I don't have anything to look at for comparison. What I see now is the rear main seal and the adaptor plate that the flywheel was bolted to but that's it? It's prolly right in front of my face and I'm surely overlookin it. This is my first clutch job so be easy on me guys.

Ps. I did use the search.

while this is on topic, i'm doing the same myself what can I use to hold the throwout bearing to the clutch actuation fork? the trans had a plastic clip holding it on but the new kit came with nothing, I even got a new fork. can I reuse a clip from an old trans or can i use something else? the first trans I took out of the car didnt even have ANYTHING, what kind of problems could that have caused?

I would avoid using any kind of metal wire to hold the TOB in place on the unput shaft. In case it broke, I wouldnt want a stray piece of metal hangina round in the bell housing looking to cause problems.

I normally use a very small plastic zip-tie.
