Crusin' thought my local junk yard my friend and i found a 1991 SHO there, i have been looking for rod linkage so long and this one had it, i went to the bank and took out $60, because i know rod linkage is expensive, well at least on ebay...anyways i take it out and go to pay for it...expecting to pay at least 50 for it, the guy tells me 18 dollars, im thinking what! thats great......anyways my question is do i need anything to be changed, i know the exhust has to be redirected, but will it just mount up, i have the have boot and the part that goes into the console too, that came with it.

Luck was on your side, the only time I've ever seen a SHO in a scrap yard was last month. It was mint with no rust. Only one problem: it belonged to a fellow SHO owner also looking for parts. Conclusion: he looked at my SHO while I looked at his, neither of us got any parts.

$18? Scum! I'll get the congrats and "good score!" out of the way up front, really, I'm happy for you. Now the sour grapes: You suck! Blah!!! You should mail me your rod shifter, I'll figure out how to make it fit using my 89 as an test subject. The devil's going to come looking for your soul any day now.

Maybe they should make an 11th comandment: Though shall not covet thy neighbor's rod shifter, lol!

Look at the pic on the writeup on shotimes that Nick Chrimes put up. If you've got the parts in the pic then fine. If not, then you better hunt them down. If you need a bolt on bent exhaust pipe you can order dynomax part # 45606 for $58 from Summit Racing http://www.summitracing.com
It's a back order item so you'll have to wait a bit for them to get it for you.

Have fun.

Rick
