You can buy a TPMS kit from American Muscle for $150. I can imagine what would happen if you ever got your car searched with that in it!

On my '04 V, if I used race tires, the TPMS readout would just show the tires until I drove out of range for a total of about 40 miles. But it would never trip a light. So if I drove at the track, it wouldn't read zero if the signal was lost, it would just read the last measured reading. If I drove to the autocross on slicks, the system would reset with -- after about 40 miles. Either way would not trip a light or disable the Stabilitrak to full on...


I've got to check that on the new one...
