Thanks to Dave and Joyce for their hospitality, James and everyone who helped put this together! :hail:

Good times, good food, and good friends! It was great seeing old & new faces before the long cold winter sets in!

And if people haven't learned by now not to leave your phone unattended or your Facebook account logged in on someone else's PC, well, let this BBQ be a lesson!

Ian and I had lunch in downtown St. Louis, went to the top of the Gateway Arch, and I dropped him off at the airport. I get to chill in the hotel watching the Pats game for one more night before heading out for a 5:50AM flight to FL for a week. Life be good, albeit dangerously short on cigarettes...

Had a blast, thanks for everything and the air mattress. Next year I'll just head down right after work on Friday night so I can be in the McNugget eating contest.

You guys are all very welcome I had a blast. Thanks also goes to James, Lil' ******, Steve and others for helping out. The "cool" place to hang out was made cooler because of the people that came to visit, things like the ballistic cupcake, glass shards in the driveway (I feel bad about that) and the cool "Bud" light for the garage.

Why do YOU feel bad about MY glass shards? I'm surprised I made it to the end of the beer can to do it.

I had a good time and was glad to finally meet some other sho nuts. I would have opened up more but i didnt want to get too drunk the first time around.

Dave, thanks for the hospitality! Next time i would actually like to get around to driving your cars.

Chad, you just have to jump in, introduce yourself, get drunk with everyone, and have fun. I remember my first day at the convention this year, it was awkward. I felt like the "new" guy and I thought everyone was stand-offish at first, but it's not the case. It's like your first day of school....once you break the ice and jump in with the crowd, they get to know you better. The 2nd day of the convention, I got in the "circle", got trashed, laughed with everyone, and broke my chair. That's why there's a running joke of me and chairs at the meets because of the 2 meets I've been to, I've broken my chair.

I had so much fun at the convention and at Dave's that I'm making next year's events top priority. My parents even talked about all of us going on a cruise in June (with them paying for it), and my brother and I said that we would rather save our days off and go to SHO Convention, lol.
