Tach cuts out????

Wired in a Sunpro tach (homebuilt car/never had a tach before), and it cuts out at 4k, every time. Josh (SASHO91) said his stock tach used to do the same. Any suggestions.

where do you have it wired to???

I believe the tach signal is the top wire on the "fire wall" side of the DIS.

It was not a digital compatible tach.
Problem solved.

Actually, you can use the Gray/Orange wire on the DIS module. Also the aftermarket tach will have to be most likely set to the 4 cyl mode.
