The silver one attatched to the box,or one of the black mounts in the car?Did you ever look at something forever only to find what you need in front of your face? This is the most frustrating thing to happen since i`ve owned the car.

AHHHHHH yes! I just had to replace sunroof switch and had to reassemble the whole get up. Took almost an hour to situate everything. I am now a master of that 8 square inch area of my car. Let me know if you are still stumped.

My sunroof won't open or close by itself anymore and I don't think its the rocker switch. Maybe the switch itself? Or the motor? I can open and close it by hitting the button a lot of times and am not sure if its closed all the way, hope it doesn't rain, then I'll find if its closed eek! . Anything anyone can add would be great.

If it works when you hit it,it sounds like either a bad connection or poor contact on the switch.I`m sure someone can help you,i`ve never been plauged by the switch problems like others have.
BTW,duh, how could i not have seen that damn spot to plug in the wire?It was right there :D

Blue95ATX: not too long ago, when intending to close my sunroof, found that it didn't work anymore... the switch felt normal, but the sunroof just wouldn't respond... when i opened up the panel and had a look at the rocker switch, i could see that it was cracked and wasn't able to properly actuate the internal switch mechanism... like i said, it felt normal from the outside, but it was cracked... take out your switch and have a look at it... i replaced mine for around $75 CDN, which i think is around $5 US, given our exchange rates lately wink you have to paint it the color of your interior, but once replaced, you should be on the road again...

hope this helps...
