Basically, my audio cuts out and is then gone.

The stock radio works fine, and sound comes out of the speakers in the morning then within an hour or less, what happens is the audio cuts out a little (gets quieter) and then dies, no sound at all for the rest of the day. When this happens, the radio appears to still be working fine, it's on, will change radio stations, the tape turns, etc...just no sound output.

Any ideas?

no sound

It does sound (no pun) as though you amplified circuit, once hot loses connection. Question is though is it the HU or the amp? You could swap amps with another SHO first and see if theirs fades out, same thing with another HU. Solder connections somewhere are bad, meaning once there is enough heat to soften the remaining connection, it expands and loses connection.
It doesnt seem to be a wiring issue.
Good luck

I think I am just gonna replace the stero and see what happens!! Ill let ya know if that works for me!! I really hate not having music in the car!!!!
