This wire connects to an adapter that my head unit plugs into.

Well as you can see from the picture the connector is pretty busted up. It causes my drivers side front speaker to come and go depending on the vibrations in the car....
I thought I could run a new wire to the speaker, but running a wire through the door looks pretty intense.....
Any suggestions?
Maybe tap into the speaker wire from another location?
Thanks

That looks like the amp wiring that goes back to the amp in the trunk, in which it actually has 8 small wires in it, 2 for each speaker. If your using an aftermarket head unit you can bypass that all together. To the left inside the dash by the radio is a black connector that goes directly to the speakers.

The entire after market system was done before I bought the car.

So the other connector for the radio, the long black one (I use for power, ground and accessory) has direct speaker lines on it too?
Is this the correct wiring diigram for the long connector?

Ok in this 1st pic you will see, the black connector thats for the speakers. Its inside the radio area to the left if you reach in there ,you will find it. In the 2nd pic you will see the connectors you need for power and speakers.

In the 1st pic, connector 3 is the speakers, connector 2 power.

And this is the connectors you need to make it work.
