i would like to get some more info on this build. I just bought a Vortech S trim kit for my SHO and would love to get more of the details on how to get there without breaking stuff unnecessarily.
I would love to have you tune mine once it is up and going...I think it would make for a good time in CO from TX. The S-trim i bought was supposedly Zach's at one time....it does have a purple blow off...lolI'd like to make 600whp out of the stock motor... Just sayin', Derek.![]()
I unfortunately wont be ready for at least a year i am thinking....It will be a 3.3L with S-trim, and all the upper intake work...ie, BBB, extrude honed intake and runners, ported, gasket matched, 80mm MAF, Hopefully TB too if I can find one, Custom built headers, hiflow ypipe, Borla custom built catback...ectYou'd have to tell me more about the car and what you're trying to do. It sounds like I *might* be out your way... Well, somewhere in big ass TX to tune some SHO's... I've been told a couple people there want me to tune, but nothing has been discussed further.
not looking for big power just bigger power....I am building a very nasty street car that i can play with and race occasionally. The numbers you already have seen is more than enough for what im looking for....400whp will just fine for me.If you're aiming for big power, I'd replace the S-trim with something bigger. This S-trim is being overspun as-is already.
I understand!Gotcha. 400whp is a fun car. Everyone wants so much power anymore that I automatically start thinking on that track.![]()
Tuning day! Let’s do this! Murph and Tony watching this thread?
I cannot allow that lol. I’m thinking. Ysi over TI. 66000 rpms over 55000 of a TI.
