The stock headunit from a 91 wouldnt happen to have the RCA outputs so i could hook up my amp would it? i was just going to wait till i could afford a new unit but i miss my speakers and besides it would give me something to do today. i might run the wires anyways and get it out of the way so when i do get a new unit all i have ot do is plug in and splice a little.

if you get a amp bypass kit you can splice rca's right to the wires also get a ground loop isolator so you dont have alot of engine noise.

i am wondering exactly how you did that? **** when i first just switched my head unit it sounded crackly when i left the amps hooked up so i used the bypass cable and seemed to work just fine now. course the head unit was 210 watts so that mighta been a probley for the amps since the stock 4 speaker amp is olny 15 watts if im not mistaken
