Awhile back I inquired about some solutions to my starting problem. After I took the connections to the solenoid apart and cleaned them and also the battery connections it still was makeing the clicking sounds. I also checked the wireing and everything except for a split in the wire was ok. I took the battery out and had my friend charge it and he said it didn't need it. I put everything back together and it started but just once. After I shut it off and tryed to start it again, the clicking noise came back. My friend was standing in front of the car he noticed that the solenoid wasn't clicking, it was a relay on the firewall. Almost in the middle of the intake on the firewall is a connector for the ABS test(red cap), another connector and then a relay to the right of that. What does this relay do? What does the connector to the left of the relay do? When I went out to start my car today, nothing happened, no clicking no nothing. After taping on the relay and checking connections the car tried to start but acted like there was a huge draw on the battery and would barely crank over. After that nothing. Any ideas? Also, should the solenoid be able to move around in the case that surrounds it? Thanks for the help.
