Hey,

I'm curious if anyone could shed some light on things I should check when the gas mileage is poor and the obvious has been done. I know I'm not a driver with a light foot, but the '95 gets better mileage and doesn't exhibit this weird hard to start symptom (especially since most of the miles are freeway on this trip).

The '94 is the car in question, and the biggest red flag is that it doesn't like to start very easily. If you crank right after turning on it usually hesitates. If you wait until you hear the F/P run it generally is OK. Sometimes it takes a few cranks. The '95, you can just turn the key and it fires up right away. There has to be a missing link here I'm not seeing (and I'm gathering it is also giving the poor gas mileage).

The car has had the following already done: Full Upper 60k, Full Front 60k, O2 sensors, fuel filter - so that is most of the obvious performance related parts. There has not been a new CID sensor installed, but I never got a code for it. Can they have this effect without any code? The CID oil seal was not changed at the time either - literally the only other thing that wasn't done.

Thanks for any insight! It would be nice for this car to drive properly again!! :) Then I can try and fix the sticky accelerator pedal.....
