Ok, I went into meijer and come out to start the car and nothing. :( I turn the key, and get all power (so i know its not a dead battery...so I then assume its the starter, so I jack the car up, and get underneath it, and touch the pos an neg termimals on the soloniod (not sure about spelling on that)...anyway...I get it home, and turn it off, and then like 2 seconds after, turn the key and it starts  then I turn it back off, and try it again, and its dead. One thing that I did notice is that yesterday i changed the oil, and it looks like it has leaked a little on the positive terminal of the soloniod, could it be shorting it out, not letting it get a good connection you guy think? I dont have a clue....thankx

sounds like a starter to me. I just replaced mine although mine had given my symptoms before it happened. I'd go to start my car and nothing would happen. Then it would start 5 minutes later. Luckily when it went, I was able to park on hills and pop the clutch to start it until the parts store got one in. Good Luck.

That really sounds like your starter is just about to die completely. I had a similar situation except that my car will only crank one time in the morning on my way to work. After that, if I had to get gas along the way ( I learned the hard way by getting stuck at a gas station) I make sure that I do not turn off my engine. At any rate, I replaced my starter and solenoid 5 months ago...after that...it works like a champ.

To replace the starter is not hard at all. If I can remember it correctly, there are only two bolts that holds the starter (top and bottom). The bottom bolt is not hard to reach. The to remove the top bolt, I used a 4 inch extension for my wrench so that I can rotate it away from the engine. Wiggle the starter a little bit...whala! the starter comes off easily.

There is only one way that the starter can be installed...so you cannot make a mistake. Tighten the bolts back to its original spec.

Well guys, it wasn't exactly the starter, just the soloniod, so I replaced that and used the same old starter housing and stuff. BTW..no, its not very hard at all to take out the starter, just two bolts, and its out. I was surprised to hear that when I called Murray's that it was only $35.99 with a life time warrenty thumbs_u so that was cool. Im not sure how much a whole starter assembly is, but I bet its not to cheap  But anyway, thankx for your guys input :D
