starter wiring

I am replacing my starter, i have the new one installed and I am having problems with the wiring.

I have the ground cable installed, and the two power cables installed on the stud,

i have two of the smaller wires left over, i know one goes to the solidoid. A red wire, and a yellow wire. What wire goes to the solidoid and where does the extra wire go?

please help

The red one goes on the little tab on the solenoid.

I don't recall a yellow one in that area, so I can't help w/ that one.

ok thanks, i am not to sure what the yellow one is for either, i just knew that one of them goes on the solenoid, thanks though
