1989 sho mtx ground run

Hi im currently trying to figure out how to get my engine to run on the ground i do have a starter and a transmission that mounts up to it to use the starter im just having issues figuring out the wiring

Attach the battery to the ground at the outboard end of the starter and the positive cable to the other end. Use a remote starter attached to the positive cable and the small terminal at the top of the starter. That should do it.
