My 90 sho just started doing it. If I slow down and engage the clutch... it stalls. If I start it and engage the clutch... it stalls. I have to immediately put it in 1st. The only thing I have done is disconnected the battery to install a new stereo/cass. Could that have anything to do with it?
I would be willing to guess (OR HOPE!) that this belongs in the open forum, under "Why do SHOs fix themselves", in a day or so it will probably be fine.
It happened once before when I had my radiator fixed... it lasted a half a day, then it was fine.

I tried resetting it, but appearantly it did not work or I did not do it right. For 2 days straight, taking my car out was "fun" to say the least. It would stall every time I downshifted to make a turn and every time I came to a stop, but it would run fine other than that. I drove her hard today to sho her who the boss is... and she submitted to my authority! Strangely, she is all better- idle is back to normal (her normal).
