Hi
I own a 1992 SHO 5 speed, I have experienced in the last few months it just quiting, stall/cut out. It seems to happen more at lower RPM's, however it has occured as I drive along. I leave it for a few minutes and she always starts again. The codes say loss of PIP signal & fuel pump circuit interuption. The ignition module and the multi finction relay have been replaced however she still occassionally just cuts out. I was wondering has anyone else experienced this? Any other thoughts on what it might be. It is getting costly.
Thanks for any assistance.

Welcome to SHOForum.

A PIP code is usually a strong indication that your crankshaft position sensor is failing. Since you've already replaced the DIS module to no avail, then that's probably the case. The crank sensor is not an easy sensor to get at on the SHO, so if you decide to go in to replace it, you should also think about doing the entire recommended "front 60K" maintenance (new timing belt, water pump, cam seals, etc.) while you have things apart:

The fuel pump circuit code is often set when the car stalls.
