New LAZER headlamp bulbs.

No shit, yaycandy was right in that they are the same as oem just a different part numbers

Slightly cooler color temp (less yellow) the inverter makes a lot more noise. I also noticed during cranking that the headlights flicker a little bit with the starter as the engine cranks. Also the color change during fire up isn't as noticable as with oem.

I guess forward 2 steps and back 1 step is still technically moving forward, lol...

True now that the engine Bay's empty I'm going this week drill the hole in the firewall run the wires for the pods run the wires for the cut-out exhaust then I got to set up those coolers in the front. I could use your help next weekend show you what I want to do maybe bounce some ideas off you.

That was the Ford Freestyle which surprisingly switched names to Taurus X in 2008 when they switched from a 3.0 V6 to the 3.5 V6 Duratec 35.
At the time they also discontinued the Ford Five Hundred which all share the same D3 chassis with our beloved SHO.

Pumped out the remaining fuel in the tank as it's already been six months I believe so may as well get it out while I can still say it's probably good. Will get a fresh bit of fuel once the motor is back in and ready for start!

Today I started on the new mounting frame for the oil cooler and AC condenser. I use the old intercooler which everybody knows is attaches onto the radiator. I took that concept and applied it to my frame. This is what I got so far.

I started with a 8' aluminum angle then put slit on one side of the angle

bent it until I got a 16" X 28 1/2" then later I'll take angle brackets on four corners and rivet it.

Positioned it on to the radiator then make the brackets to fit the radiator so it can be bolted to the radiator. This Frame will fit the same spot where the old intercooler sat.
