I was just quoting a couple you tube vids. When I got home, I tried the funnel that came with the car and it went right in.

Got new rubber on the stock wheels today. Pro tip, when it's 95 degrees outside you should always pay attention to the direction arrows on the tires BEFORE you put them on and tighten the lugnuts, not after...

I'm uncomfortable with how many likes this got.

The worst part was I noticed on the passenger side front tire it was pointing the wrong way, then looked at driver side right tire and my eyes saw that one as wrong, so I swapped the two front tires, but when I went to put the passenger side front on (formally the driver side front) it was still wrong. so instantly I start cursing the tire place and blaming them for putting one tire on backwards...then I look at the driver side rear and it's wrong, so then I swapped the passenger side front with the driver side rear and finally all four were correct. My eyes were playing tricks on me. It was about 95 degrees and sweat was literally pouring off my head.

Just to cover the bases, all of them, are you saying you can run 275 wides with the following:
Stock wheels
Stock ride height
Stock suspension
And no wheel spacers?

This is what I have and there is no rubbing. I don't know on stock rims and springs.
275/40 R20 on 9.5" ET40 - H&R Springs

I have stock springs and suspension, but aftermarket 9" wheels with 35 offset. 275/40/20 no rubbing at all even over bumps or turning wheels all the way in either direction.

I love it when people are CERTAIN about something they've never seen. I've learned to never question someone's tire sizes people will make anything fit anything

I am certain that 275/40 R20 on 9.5" ET40 - H&R Springs don't rub, I am certain because that is what I got and all that was on when I bought it, guy I got it from swapped them so I am not trying to justify that that works, but it does.

I was referring to the other gentleman that is telling me that there's no way I have 275/45 on the back of my 2010 without spacer and stock suspension

Any risk in having such a short sidewall. Images of dragsters and funny cars with 40” tires and 16” wheels crinkling sidewalls comes to mind. Seems like they were on to something.

I helped my 19 year old son cut the rear springs on his '13 PP. It was super easy and we did the cut with a dremel cut off wheel. I'm really enjoying working with him on his car and having him help me on mine. My 17 year old came out and helped him finish when I went inside to get dinner on the table. Teaching them the safety elements of getting a car on stands and thinking things through is very fulfilling for me as a dad. Not bad for a Thursday evening.
