Those ST wheels would really look cool if you did like the reverse flower. That burnt orange inside and had the flat on the fronts black. I’d never have patience for all that masking though.

I'm diggin that color on the wheels.

I never did figure out how people could make plastidip look so good. I tried it once and man it wasn't pretty. Painting them on the other hand, that I can do.

Me neither.

Honestly, the pictures make them look good. There are a couple if issues with them. However it was my first time ever using plasti dip and a pearl overcoat. So, there are things that I learned that will make them look alot better in person when I do it again.

He just can’t let go of the last vestige of exterior chrome. And while we’re at it, how many times did you have that bumper off to do the grille? Where’s that splitter!?

Since owning the car I have had the bumper off 8 to 10 times. Twice for the grill.

The infamous splitter. There is a couple of issues. The chin spoiler on the 10 - 12 is a direct fit. For it to work you have to do some modifications for it to fit on a 13+.

I really need to pull the front off again and have it fixed (license plate bracket holes, lots of paint chips) and re-sprayed. So when that happens, I will have my auto body guy modify the lower chin spoiler and then graft it on. Then I will add the splitter.

Car is dirty, but installed my new R1 Brakes and rotors and matched the calipers. Not the happiest with the paint job but it sure does look good.

How many coats of clear did you end up putting on? I remember on your last video that you said the copper had a tendency to chip easily.

1 light coat and 2 heavy coats. Still was fairly fragile compared to a proper powder coat considering how rough you gotta get with calipers at times

Yesterday I removed my Winter tires and lubed the caliper pins. Infotainment screen froze right after I started the car. Back to normal after I shut it off and restarted it.
Guess Gremlins better liked the softer ride.

Got her detailed yesterday. Engine, wax, and interior. She was covered in pollen before I even put her up (and he did it at my house).
