The off shades of blues killed me, so had to make some updates to the aesthetics of the engine bay. I am a very large function over form guy, but this is hot.

Burnt orange / copper. Not sure what to call it, but I'm loving it.

What's with that battery it looks like half the size of mine (Smaller)
You're observation is correct! It's tiny! lol. My calling card is weight reduction in this platform. My OEM sized one kicked the shit the week after I was looking at getting a lightweight one so forced upgrade it was.

Plasti dipped the Focus' wheels. At first I hated it, but it is growing on me

I am always looking for that slight edge wherever I can as long as it's not expensive. So small battery was the way to go. Got that piece of foam there to hide the nitrous solenoid. Probably going to put in a baby baby jet for the next drag strip outting because 600+ ft lbs without any gaseous assistance is already stressful enough. I kept the battery in the front to help with the front end traction over a weight split.

I was thinking that last night so that's why I ordered some plastic sheets and I'm going to reconstruct the air box and make it out of plastic get lightweight. Plus I want to see if it can be done be just as strong as metal

That’s not a bad idea but I’d imagine plexi would allow for heat transfer far easier than sheet metal. You’d have to insulate the box for sure.

I'm diggin that color on the wheels.

I never did figure out how people could make plastidip look so good. I tried it once and man it wasn't pretty. Painting them on the other hand, that I can do.
