I will miss the creature comforts of the SHO but holy **** these new 5.0s are quick! I saw a YouTube video of people with minor bolt on decent tires and a tune going deep 11s

I debated getting a GT. Decided the ability to get around in ice and snow plus the comfort of the SHO were sufficient reasons to pic the sedan. Enjoy your new GT!
Having to get to work when it snows was a big draw of the SHO for me as well. Who knows when it's time to get a new car though, I get bored and there doesn't seem to be much on the horizon for AWD sedans from Ford or otherwise that interests me unless I hit lotto and can get that E63 or RS7.

This was my exact thought process on getting the SHO.

Thanks for the reply! I’ve currently used up a quarter tank of 93 octane, so I think I might put in a quarter of E85 today, see how it runs.

Quarter tank is 5 gallons. You planning to fill with E85? Final result, assuming E10 93, might be a tad bit TOO high at E29. And it is good practice to put in E85 first, then fill with gas, so that the E has a good chance of mixing properly and evenly in the saddle type tank the SHO has. Anyhoo, let us know how it works out.

Thank you again man of wisdom! I did put about 4 gallons of E85 yesterday, I will definitely put the E85 first on the next fill up. So far I don’t know if it’s just me, but the car feels like it runs cleaner and smoother :)

It’s just you unless you have been having KR due to crap gas in your area. Are you monitoring your fuel pressure? Just keep an eye out for hesitation under full throttle... cold weather plus a heavy E mix on a tune not designed for it can punish your fuel pressure.

When I monitored my LMS tune when mixing E I could see a decrease in my fuel pressure... with a couple gallons it’s wasn’t enough to worry about. Anything more than 3 gallons I would see drops I didn’t like... but that’s me and I am ultra paranoid...

On standard 93 octane with the most aggressive LMS tune my fuel pressure always stayed perfect.
