Today finished the needed installs on top of the t-stat.... SP534 Spark Plugs, 3Bar Map, and new boots for the coils(little bastards didn't want to come out with the coils). Oh, can't forget... Loaded a new tune from Unleashed!

I started her up, sounds like a well running sewing machine...then the kids decided to have fits... So I have not had a chance to pull it out of the driveway..

Sooo... Finally got a chance to test the Unleashed 93/3bar tune on the way to the grocery store... It's MUCH faster! Didn't really get to open her up a lot. The down shift is pretty harsh, not sure if that is normal... First automatic car I have ever run a tune on.. Will probably run it for a week so it can relearn then send some data logs to Torrie to see if anything needs adjusting...

If the shifting is still harsh after the relearn, ask Torrie to lower shift pressures a tad. The 185-195 range was desireable IIRC.

Awesome, I will keep a feel on it. I did notice on the upshifts under WOT it either was slipping (unlikely) or I was loosing traction somewhere. Initial data logging on boost I was maxing at 20.88 psi... I need to load it up to see if that was a spike or not.

Mine is the same way. My issue was that on WOT the 1-2 shift felt like it was slipping. It would hit 6200 rpm in first, shift to second and drop to around 5700 rpm, it would maintain that rpm for a little under 1 second (while still accelerating), and then the rpms would climb for the second half of the gear. It only happened on the 1-2 shift on WOT.

We did a bunch of datalogging and he had the shift pressure maxed out and it still did it. Eventually we got it to the point of no longer feeling like it was slipping. But it has a slight shudder on the WOT shift now.

got tired of going back and forth and settled for it. Still in the back of my mind I'm considering calling Livernois and asking about their tunes. If they have a money back guarantee that their tune would shift properly I would probably buy one. But I haven't called them yet.

My car does the same thing that you describe, except it's from 2nd to 3rd. I'm having it looked at when I take it in to the dealer on Tuesday.

As further details, mine only does it with the modified tune. With stock tune it's normal.

Mine does it when its stock as well, in fact after I loaded the stock tune, it slipped like crazy from first to second and second to third...

Seems like a theme.... Is it just with the Unleashed tune?

I've been running the livernois stage 4plus for a while now, and my car has been slipping in third for a while. I gotta take it in to get the master cylinder replaced on Tuesday, so I returned to stock. When I took it for a drive for the transmission to learn, it was slipping all over the place, I mean the rpms kept climbing and the car didn't accelerate...

Most likely looking at TSS/OSS sensor involvement, marius, though they should check the trans range sensor and valve body also. Of late, torque converters have been biting the dust, wouldn't rule that out completely.

Bought some cans of plastidip. My plan is to black out the grille and other chromes.
Great plan! Just make sure you put enough coats on, and that the surface is squeaky clean. And no moisture. I put 6 or 7 coats on my wheels, and the spokes on one of them have already started peeling :(

Working on my grills to make something like the mobsteel grill. The lower grill has been a lot more work than planned and due to my time crunch with second vehicle availability, the finish of the plastic borders isn't as pretty as I hoped. In the end it will still pass the 10ft test.
I painted the parts in a charcoal metallic...kinda looks like shiny off black. Anyway it's different from what I've seen. I will post pics when done.
