I got my TurboBay Stage 3 rebuilds installed this weekend. The seat of the pants feels quicker and sounds louder (especially on decel). I will go through a gas tank and then send data logs out. I was able to reinstall the turbos with TurboSmart Wastegates with the front axle still installed.
That's awesome... can't wait for the tune changes. Would like to know the sound difference.

Did a transmission fluid change today. I've been running straight ULV for the last year and a half. The fluid still had a nice color and there was no stripper glitter whatsoever.

Edit: 2 years since 1st 5 liters ULV in.

Got my sparkplugs, TStat, sensor and tune all done this weekend from Gearhead. I live in Canada so it was a bit of a pain to get it all here, but so worth it. Car stays nice and calm under 2500 RPM's so it can still putz around town comfortably, but holy does the boost come on at 2750 now. Over 100 kph is great, used to struggle around 180 kph but no problems now. Transmission changes are also a bonus, love the faster and more aggressive shifts. Not going to call it a "whole new car", just going to say this is exactly what the car should have been from factory.

Up next might have to be some new tires for next summer. Currently running Cooper RS3-G1's, and while they are on the performance end of all-seasons, they are hanging on for dear life. Something grippy and summer only is probably in order.

What brakes are you using ?
Currently the stock non-pp setup (in good condition). I don't do anything too rough on them, especially not in the winter coming up, but I do have a brake upgrade on my list next spring before my yearly trip through the mountains next June:) I see a lot of positive talk regarding R1 Concepts, will have to research them further.

Installed plugs, looked the car over on the lift. Leaking ptu seal on new ptu.. Some squeal on the right side front looks to be drilled and sloted rotors glazed on the inside of rotor.. I'll replace pads and rotors next week.. Other than that car is running great gonna go do some bracket racing next weekend..

Car started sputtering and misfiring as soon as I pulled into the parking lot at work this morning. Dash said advancetrac blah blah, but I couldn't find a map sensor at any local auto parts stores. So, I had to get it from the dealer, changed it out in 2 minutes, and she's back to normal.

Well, no pictures from under the car, I couldn't stick around. Will post audio soon, so I finally finished my exhaust. I have wrapped PPE downpipes, now finally removed the third cat and stock resonator, replaced with Flowmax Flow FX as resonators and the Magnaflow 5 X 11IN. Oval straight-through performance muffler.

Definitely introduced a muscular sound with a moderate tone. Driving at 60-70mph the car has a small drone. Any acceralation you get a beefy non rasp tone.

Will update this post with photos and YT link.

So I wanted to share a video and let everyone hear the difference however, 2 landscapers for my neighbors showed up, and my other neighbor started to mow his lawn, literally at the same time, and if not all that at once, the rain came pouring down HA! If anyone doesnt know what the third cat and resonator look like I included them too.

Exhaust sound

Some pics to look through.

The tail light 35% tint. Wet applied.
Then gave the interior a Mothers VLR wipe with a thick Microfiber.
Love that smell.

I started installing a new timing chain set and water pump. It is a heck of a job on jack stands. I got it almost all the way torn down yesterday. So far the only "specialty" tool required is the 3-jaw gear puller. I picked it up off Amazon for $45. I also bought the cam holder for $25 but, it is not required for the job. Hopefully, I will swap the pump and chains tonight and start going back together. I was getting a P0016 code. Looking at the slop it appears to be well warranted. I had to advance the crank past its timing mark to get the cam tool on. Then I moved the crank back to its timing mark. This left a big gap between the chain and the seat of the sprocket.

What a job - let us know how it goes.

Realized I'm going to have to change the timing chain in about 10k miles, roughly 6 months with my commute, and I'm not looking forward to it, wish you the best of luck friend!

When you order your parts, make sure to get the camshaft sprocket bolts. I'm waiting for them currently. I did not realize they are torque to yield. You may get away with reusing them but, I would hate to snap one off in a cam or worse get it all together and go for a spirited ride to have it let loose. Other than that, Ford says to only use the white 3M roloc finger wheels to clean the front seal surface and they have a specific sealant, TA-357, they recommend (or they claim it will cause oil foaming and motor damage). I ended up pulling the intake to get the valve covers off. You may want the crankshaft seal, intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, spark plug tube seals, and VVT solenoid seals. It is a good time to send the injectors out to be cleaned if you have time (or replace them). Cloyes has a decent video of the repair with the motor on a stand so you can see what all your getting into.

Installed the GH tune and the 3 bar map sensor. I had previously installed the 170 thermostat and the spark plugs. Went for a limited test drive up to around 80 and the car feels much improved. I also got the speed limiter removed. From what I've
read, they're good up to the low 160's. I doubt if I ever go that fast, but 140 is doable. They also turned on the gear indicator when the car is in drive. I kind of wish they hadn't done that because now my wife will ask me what it is. I'll tell her that it was included in a computer firmware update.

If you message them, they can remove that. Simple tune modification. Do some data logs, send them in for your revisions and ask them to shut the gear indicator off while they make the revision. Upload the revision and it will be all set.
