Let's start a new thread... ummmm, call it brake discussion. This was supposed to be about bigger turbos and we got off on a tangent. Hope you guys don't mind.

What about a 25-50 shot of nitrous in the intercooler? The little shot of nitrous will add a few hp and cool your charge tremendously. Knock at least another .25 - .50 off your time...
You could keep increasing the work on your turbo's but its probably not worth it, and your fuel system is probably not going to let you go any farther stock. I would think there is absolutely no way the factory allowed enough injector to increase power to say (150+) over stock.
What gear/rpm are you going through the traps? You might end up having a unwanted gear change? Maybe a few more revs is what the Dr. Ordered?
1) I though Honeywell made the turbos?
2) The TTV6 SHO is E85 friendly. Tables are already set up in the SCT software.
3) Can the waste gate actuator rod be adjusted?

1) Garrett is the aftermarket brand name for Honeywell turbos. Honeywell is the OEM turbo brand name.
2) I wouldn't automatically assume it's E85 friendly just because it has the table in it. All of the gaskets and engine componants have to be E85 friendly too or else the alcohol can deteriorate them. I'm not sure it is E85 firendly and as someone else mentioned, they talked to a SHO engineer/specialist from Ford at the conv. that said it was still in the works, but not availible yet. So maybe they just put the tune in there for future models that have the proper hardware to match
3) Yes, by nut and threaded rod. Good luck reaching the rear one though.
i double checked, the only 6 we have that is e85 friendly right now is the 3.06
I'm sorry, I don't understand your abbreviations. by 6, do you mean V6? and what is the 3.06?![]()
