Hey guys, my car is running some really weak times. Car has a 3 bar Torrie tune, plugs and a Panel filter. The best was a. 13.38 at 103.21 with a 1.97 60 ft. Da was around 1500 and about 80 degrees. Most of my mph are in the 102 range which is what some stock ones have run. My laptop is down so data logging isn't possible right now. Car is 2010 non pp. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The car is shifting into 4th by the 90ish mph mark is that normal, seems like it's leaving a lot of Rpms on the table. Car shifts at 5700

See if Torrie can raise your shift point to 6200. I have a '12 PP car and never hitting 4th gear. 60' aren't real bad, but could be better. Try lowering tire pressures down to 26 and go from there. Are you tuning off the traction control, and what RPM are you launching at.

Original owner? How many miles on the SHO? Maintenance history? BamSHO's got some solid suggestions.

Thanks for help guys I just s hot torrie an email. 2nd owner 65k miles tuned for 10k. I don't have a history but the car is in perfect shape and doesn't leak anywhere that I've noticed. I've found that the car has given me the best results launching at 2k Rpms. I have had the fronts aired down to 28 ande the rear at 30. Tcs off. ****** track prep the nights I went.

IF the problem lies with the car, it is usually in need of a PTU fluid change. 65K means it probably should have been done twice already by now. Luckily the fluid change is "easier" on 2010-12 cars, here's a HOW TO if you want to give it a go:

Did you feel any shifting issues at all? Check the plug gap recently? What tires are you running, how many miles on them?

Running Goodyear eagle rs-a. They are practically new, def not the drag radials I'm used to. It's shifting well. That fluid change looks like a bear. I'm toying withe idea of springs but I haven't read much on ride quality ( the kid has to ride in it).

Got the adjusted tune 10 minutes after I emailed torrie (freakin awesome service) definitely feels stronger shifting at 6200. Back to the track Wednesday to test it out.

Should have gone with LME! OK, just messin! But have you tried running it with the gear selector in "S" instead of "D"? I know LME tunes use "S" mode for their baselines and my shift points are well above 6k. I also assume you re-gapped your plugs to handle the extra rush of air into the piston chambers?
