I like to be able to use my full speedo since I paid for those numbers.

I actually like 4wd hi for most cases because 4lo with a 10 speed is absurd when you can't start in say 3rd lol also 4lo kills all traction and stability controls which have helped me on slippery trails when a locked rear is too much but unlocked isn't enough. Idk, everyone is different so we have different options.

Fair enough...I can actually appreciate that....you pay that much for it and yes I would understand wanting to use the entire range of it.

Amen, brother ... hey, FL's a baby TX in my view, and likewise regarding next favorite state to live in. Not to mention, in North-Central, and certainly North Florida you need winter gear 'cause you're basically Southern AL and GA.

Otherwise, I mean, we all know Texas - somehow - is its own sovereign nation within a sovereign nation. And that anti-Americans need to stay the **** out. :)

You sound like a Texas native already!

why would you ever need crawl control in High gear? in true Ford tradition it is all smoke and whistles..also the Raptor is definitely a Baja inspired truck, again not typical 4x4 application....Raptor is a Niche application that stands alone in the industry and Ranger is following suit to Raptor design, not really a good comparison...but people like what they like and thats ok too.

They dont stand alone anymore. Dodge has the new TRX with a hellcat in it.

Dodge TRX will always be a second to the Raptor...in any way possible but mostly because there is not a single Dodge or Chrysler product made that can hold value...In that way alone they will always be second to all. Sorry if that ruffles some feathers but its true... but again, people like what they like and that is ok[/QUOTE]

LOL. I would never own a Dodge truck.

...And this becomes moot when the Raptor R drops next year...

No details yet, but its gonna be either the Predator or Godzilla motor...either way...

I wont lie, I am pretty hyped about the V-8 returning to the Raptor. I have feeling a V-8 Raptor is going to set ya back a cool $100k though.

You have no idea .... and you just might be right.

As the veteran operator that I am, while I like to combine super self-confidence with a good dose of humility, always felt really at home with my fellow vets and Rangers from Texas (no pun intended.)

As if I was looking in a mirror, could not help but have tremendous admiration for their larger than life belief in themselves. :cheers:Albeit sometimes hard to keep up with. (Warning: Attempting to party like a Texan is not recommended.)

Won't even get into Texas girls, women, call 'em what you like. In a league of their own. The (5-point) Essence of a Southern Belle.
  1. Very charming.
  2. Very Lady-like.
  3. With backbones made of steel.
  4. That, whether father, brother, husband, uncle, etc. .... like their men STRONG,
  5. And are all packin' heat ... will not hesitate to pop a cap in someone's a-- ... ABSOLUTELY has my back at all times .
Kinda like a mellowed-out Jersey Girl with a Glock ... but probably a .45 ACP Glock, to be clear. 30S or something like that.

I guess I like 'em a bit dangerous.

I don’t know.... I don’t think anyone wants to trade with us, we don’t have good BBQ, our roads are shit and we have...

Governor Whitmer, possibly the leader of the next Mad Max movie.

People from CA are overpaying for housing here in PHX. I was thinking Florida might be a good destination, but after hearing this......Texas might become home.
