When I first got my babyE25c1e96ae4ce5e0f448155ab433ad44

Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
I have yet to clean mine after buying it but by the time i clay bar, wax, spray wax and polish her up real nice. She will be looking good. I have the flower rims as people refer to them but for some reason the finish on some of the machine silver part has wore off/away and you cant tell until close up but it sucks it did. When I bought the car, I couldnt see it as I test drove at night and the pics the dealership sent me were very nic,e and the video but they didnt have the same eye for detail. Either way nice ride. Mine is white also and I am looking to do a Chrome delete and remove the window visors the old owner put on. I dont smoke so I could give two ***** less about the window visors or for rain.

Aw, dayum! My condolences to the great :hail:United Republic of The Lone Star State.

My part of the The Sunshine State....currently? Clear skies, Sunny, 81 degrees, 15% chance of rain ... overnight low, a somewhat chilly 73 with the 10 mph winds.

(Don't frickin laugh.o_O We're Floridians, man! Anything approaching 60-something degree wind-chill is downright frigid in these here parts. That's right.)

Same here! We typically stay above freezing year-round which is what makes this storm a "once in a life time event". Its like Florida without the insane humidity. I was stationed in Destin for awhile, if I didn't live in Texas I'd probably live in Florida :)

Was able to get the 4 Runner out in its first snow....got about 4" south of Houston...this pic was on Monday 9°F (the worst day for us)...I love this truck! This pic was taken at work, I drove in to check on the shop and open up just incase we ran Service techs.... heating out all over the city and people are cold and in damage control with pipes and water issues....The cities in this area are not prepared for conditions like this at all...I live off-grid from time to time at our hunting cabin and property so we are good with minimal inconveniences.

The SHO is tucked up tight in garage at the house in a heated garage set at 68°F...she is comfortable....Installing that garage heat-pump unit last summer was the best thing i have ever done.

Yessir, my garage is insulated and temperature controlled as well. I installed a split system in mine. Nice cold AC in the summer, with toasty heat in the winter....great investment if you practically live in the garage like I do, lol.27840428a3a048df66cb3460bb0af338F4c8eeed95dff2c14f5266a025ae6350

Its really the only way to go if you have crazy heat and humidity like we have here and large temp swings....Mine is a mini split also...I think mine is American Standard, I cant remember exactly but they all do the same thing...lol

Amen, brother ... hey, FL's a baby TX in my view, and likewise regarding next favorite state to live in. Not to mention, in North-Central, and certainly North Florida you need winter gear 'cause you're basically Southern AL and GA.

Otherwise, I mean, we all know Texas - somehow - is its own sovereign nation within a sovereign nation. And that anti-Americans need to stay the **** out. :)

Nice! Yo, if you think about it, at one time the Toyota 4Runners were the sh--, and the only other thing that came close was a Pathfinder.

I think it has even improved and is still well up to the task in snow and the boonies ... clearly, right?

how much did that run you?
Only about 1800 installed. I had an HVAC company do it and got a $500 rebate on top of the specials they were running on LG units at the time. Normally would've been closer to about 3000.

Love it though. I can control it remotely with the app, so...when I'm at work and want to do some work in the garage when I get home, I turn it on before I leave work, then it's cool by the time I get there. Vice versa in the winter...

It helps that my garage is fully insulated already though.

Ehhhhhh debatable.

The Ford Trail Control system is similar to Toyota's Crawl Control system available on the Tacoma pickup truck and 4Runner SUV TRD Pro models as well as the Lexus GX and LX off-roading SUVs. The major difference is the Ford Trail Control system allows the Raptor and the Ranger to work in both high and low range and in all of Ford's Terrain Management settings. The Toyota system works only in four-wheel-drive low range in certain modes.

Also drum brakes..... Lol.

why would you ever need crawl control in High gear? in true Ford tradition it is all smoke and whistles..also the Raptor is definitely a Baja inspired truck, again not typical 4x4 application....Raptor is a Niche application that stands alone in the industry and Ranger is following suit to Raptor design, not really a good comparison...but people like what they like and thats ok too.
