Well I ordered a set of Big Bore Butterflies from SHOShop over 2 months ago (well before the convention) and have not seen hide nor hair of them as of yet. They already charged me for them AND I sent them a set of cores. I've called them numerous times and each time they either tell me that they havent come in yet or they'll be in by the following Monday, I swear its as if they just say that to everyone about everything. I haven't had any problems with them in the past but man, this is getting really frustrating. I want my $hit or I want my money back!! I'm writing them a letter right now as a matter of fact. If they don't get with it, this is the last time I ever deal with them. And they can count on losing any of my SHO Friends as customers as well.

Everything they do takes about seven and a half times longer than they claim it will. You will eventually get it, or your money back. I dont recomend asking for your money back because that will start another 2 month waiting period for the money. I just try to use all my other availible resources before resorting to the shoshop...good luck thumb

If you ask for your money back, don't count on getting your cores back. They're long gone I'm sure.

Edit: This is exactly why I don't have them as a sponsor anymore. Too many bad experiences that far outweigh the good. It is pointless to have a sponsor that you can't put your faith in.

I have not had any dealings with them yet, but I was considering purchasing a Y-pipe from them, and now I am scared. Are there alternitives to them for a catless Y as far as price is concerned?
I don't want to be sitting here at Christmas waiting for my pipe.

In all honesty i would go tru someone else that may sell their products,i believe www.spmotorsports.com sells them.

PS:ive checked their site for you and it says they only have one left as of 8/21 hurry and call them as i think they are discontinued.

why does he have to tread lightly? because he advertises for you? Are you worried about them? We all know they Suck!

I'm not going to be part of the bashing of another vendor unless they are blatently ripping people off. I can only think of one that does that and it's not SHO Shop. So I think it looks kind of funny when someone says "SHO Shop" sucks and has a link to Midwest SHO in their sig.

I don't want it to look like we have to rag on other vendors to get sales.

I had a similiar experience with my Contour intake manifolds. the only advice I can give, is call daily and MAKE SURE you speak with tom. Otherwise you will get the run around that you are currently getting. I can say that when I spoke with Tom, that way I got it from the horses mouth. Then when you speak with him next time you can tell him 'he said so'. I can say this too, after calling numerous times and asking where my stuff was, he at least forked out the cash to next day air the part. Bottom line is YOU have to stay on top of it.

For most companies it's this simple, you check their catalog, you order part, they mail you part.

shrug sounds simple to me,everyone else i deal with seems to have it down.

Ryan, you and I will have to agree to disagree on this aspect. IMO, it is vendor's responsibility to "stay on top" of the sale and to keep their customer happy. That's just good business practice. I never have to stay on top of Josh, Torrie or Doug & Cathy....they're usually one step ahead of me 99.99% of the time...see what I mean?

Overnighting a part at his expense when it came in late to him does help good will to grow, but it is not the complete answer to the whole problem at hand. I dare say that if they were to give more people real delivery dates he would hold down on a lot of his overnight shipping costs....which in turn could help to hold down parts costs.

I will say that SHO Shop does have some good products IMO, they just need to revise how the sales/shipping end of the business. (ie: charging credit cards before shipping, shipping when he said it's shipped, bla, bla, bla...and etc.)
