I see your point, but you can't honestly say your engine only moves from 8krpm's and up, if it does that insane, I've never ridden in a +40 cam car... but I've seen some dyno charts and it doesn't look that bad....... shit it makes more power then a stock SHO all over...........

oh **** yeah, my car makes much better power then my old 3.0L did, I can feel more bottom end then it used to have for sure. My car is running on a stock tune too and I know it is not right, probably missing 50-75 hp then it should have. I have the combination of oversized valves, stage 2 cams, EH/BBB intake and a pretty free flowing exhaust, so all of that brings the power band higher up. I am not saying it makes no power lower, but it still pulls hard up high, and shifting at say 7k would make the car run slower in an all out acceleration pull
