Hi guys, I have a problem that I hope someone here can shed some light on. About 50% of the time, when I get in my car ('10 SHO) the mid lumbar support is fully inflated. It literally feels like I have a football stuck between myself & the middle of the seat back. And it won't deflate,no matter what I do. And it stays that way until I get to wherever I'm going. Be it five minutes or five hours. But when I get in it again, everything is back to normal. I've never had it stay inflated two times in a row.

Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: I'm the only driver of the car.

Ghost inflation! Yeah, funny subject. My car does the same. Ford just sent my dealer a new seat control module and we are gonna c if it fixes it. Mine happens more on the passenger side though. There should be a fix on this from Ford. I'm a bit dissapointed with it.

My '10 did the same thing when it was only about 10 months old. It happened once. I couldn't get it to deflate. (We were out of town on vaction. Wife wasn't happen-Passenger seat.) The next morning the seat was fine. Never had a problem again with it. (I'm not sure if she touched those controls again.) Let us know what the dealer finds.

It was the module under the seat. It's fixed and doesn't inflate itself anymore.
