So more electrical issues, as per usual. My wipers don't really work unless I push and hold them in. Normally this should turn on the washer pump, but that doesn't seem to turn on either. Switching between HI and LO doesn't make them run but it does change their speed if I hold down the wash button. I thought it was the multi function switch, so I replaced that with a new OEM one and it did fix the wipers not parking, but I'm still having the issue where they don't work on their own. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the motor or governor module.

Another thing too, the MFS I bought has non intermittent wipers, same with the one that was currently in the car, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference

The wiring diagram for an 89 LX MFS is on page 27. Should be the same as the SHO. The '90 is different, but attached anyway.Wiper 1Wiper 2Wiper 3

Thanks! I haven't taken a look yet at the wiper motor, but I removed the governor for the wipers and it looks completely fine. Solders even look new and relays inside tested okay. I have a feeling it's because I need the MFS with the intermittent wipers option, which is causing it not to run correctly.

Just as I suspected, I bought the wrong multifunction switch and so did the previous owner :nut: I needed the one with the intermittent wipers option. Silly mistake, but everything works now.
