SCT X3 - 91 octane performance pgm

Installed SCT X3 - 91 octane performance pgm on my 96' SHO the other day. Car feels more peppy, the secondaries open earlier and timing may be altered. So far so good, I lowered the temp when the fans come on and hope it will help with 100 degree weather. I am going to fool with shift points and pressure next.

Anyone have some suggestions or tips?

Where did you get your tuner at. Im looking at one for my black 98. Yeah I want to turn the pressure up too. How much was it.

Be carefull how much you mod the fan turn on temps or you could cause the fans to run continous. Remember the factory t-stat is 195 open. So you really cant cool the car below 195. I have changed mine to a 170 stat with 198 low 208 high. Car will run around 185-190 on warm summer day. Anything over 100 degree outside the best is around 200 coolant temp.

I have a Trans-Go shiftkit so my shifts are already firm. I set the shift pressure and points back to stock. I like the 91 octane performance program.

Got my tuner yesterday, and noticed the the throttle is very touchy now, in perf and mileage tunes. I this normal, cause cant really use cruise.

I am using 91 Perf Tune and have no issue with cruise control. Engine is very responsive, but I like that.

Thanks, just uploaded the 91 tune. Noticed idle is a lot better.
