Running rough

What can cause my sho to misfire and run really rough !
I have not had the plugs changed in a long time the wires are fairly new
all filters have been changed I need front bank 02 sensor and MAF sensor
I tried to clean 02 sensor and may have destroyed it even more.. I was wondering if the 02 sensor could cause the computer to run really rich and cause the gas not to burn properly at all therfore causing a mis fire?

Anyone with ideas please help me out. Much appreciated I am a new SHO owner

A screwd up o2's and MAF will certainly cause it to run poorly. You can't clean o2 sensors, I don't know how you tried, but it probably wasn't good for it. I'd get two new o2 sensors (Bosch ones, from Autozone) - and start with cleaning the MAF.

Start with what you know is wrong. Change the O2 sensors. Clean the MAF. And change (or at least gap) the sparkplugs. The Platinum plugs are supposed to be good to 60K miles, but check and see what you have in there.
