Quick question: Why does the RPM drop slowly when shifting out of 1st gear before 3500 or so rpm? I remember reading something about some sensor that controls that (maybe the iab valve?). I'm just wondering why the rpm drops slowly between 1st and 2nd gear but drops fast between all other gears? I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the mph (when the car's miles per hour get to about 25-30, the rpm free-falls faster)...any thoughts?

My rpms will drop slower (and remain higher) when the car is cold...once warmer (after like 2 mintues of driving), tis all normal.

Does that help at all?
