Dave, the point is that by the time you get a sign that something is amiss with the rod bearings, it's usually too late, irreperable damage has already occured. Throwing in a set of fresh rod bearings after one has already spun and scratched up the crank is not the way to go about doing things.dstig1 said:Sorry to be extreme here, but by that logic, I should replace my <whatever> "just because".
